Mars Rover
Zhurong
Zhurong is currently about 237,978,772 kilometres from Earth, or 1.591 astronomical units, which puts a one-way radio signal 13.2 minutes out. It is 1.571 astronomical units from the Sun.
China’s first Mars rover, which explored Utopia Planitia for about a year before entering hibernation for the Martian winter in 2022. It never woke up.
Dust buildup on its solar panels likely prevented it from resuming operations.
