NASA releases Artemis II lunar science dataset and astronaut observations
Over 800 gigabytes of lunar imagery and scientific observations gathered by the Artemis II crew have been released to the public.

NASA has made the full lunar science dataset from the Artemis II mission publicly available to the global science community. The released archive includes over 800 gigabytes of observations and imagery captured by the crew during their trajectory around the Moon and back to Earth.
Among the released materials is a tablet screenshot annotated by astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen. The notes document handwritten observations of impact flashes on the lunar surface made while observing a dark Moon eclipsing the Sun.
